GENERAL INFORMATION 

from 4^th to 6^th July 2005

The Sofitel Palm Beach is located in the heart of the city on the Corniche Kennedy, the coastal avenue, affording a unique view of the bay of Marseille, Frioul Islands and If Castle.
This privileged location offers easy access to the city's center, Old-Port and highways.

WELCOME AND REGISTRATION

Badges and documents will be handed out at the welcome desk on Monday 4th July 2005 from 09:00 a.m.

SOCIAL PROGRAM

Monday 4^th July 2005 : Welcome cocktail reception
It will take place at the Sofitel Palm Beach from 5:45 pm.

Tuesday 5^th July 2005: Dinner of the Symposium
The dinner of the Symposium will be offered to all the participants. Accompanying persons could join the meeting attendees with a financial participation of 50 Euros (to be paid at the welcome desk of the Symposium).

CATERING

Lunches will be served everyday in the "Borely" room of the Sofitel Palm Beach.

POSTER DISPLAY AREA

Each author will have at his disposal a panel of 2 m wide and 2 m high. Posters will be displayed throughout the Symposium.
Authors will be invited to set up their poster following registration. Information and necessary equipment will be available at the welcome desk.

INTERNET ROOM

A computer room in self-service will be at the disposal of the participants.

By plane
Marseille-Provence Airport is the 4^th airport in France, with 32 daily flights to Paris (1.15 hour flight time), 70 connections with cities in 25 countries in the world.

By train
Saint-Charles railway station : 17 TGV Méditerranée (High Speed Train) every day from Paris (3 hours).

LOCATION

From the airport: take the A55 going toward "Vieux-Port" then follow signs for "Le Pharo" and "La Plage".
Coming from Nice on the A8, take the A50, follow signs for Marseille-East, exit "La Plage".

ACCOMMODATION

Blocks of rooms have been reserved at special rates from 3^rd to 6^th July, in Marseille hotels. Participants are kindly requested to make their own hotel booking mentioning the name of the workshop "CNES/Disruptive Technologies".
